                              DuPont, WA.

FINISH TIME:   4PM
DISTANCE:        10K (6.2 Miles) Walk
                              05K (3.1 Miles) Walk
                              15K (9 miles) Bike
                              25K (15.5 miles) Bike

TRAILS: The City Walk NW04/003 will take you through the city and surrounding woods. This event is suitable for strollers and the shorter 5km trail would be suitable for wheelchairs.
The Country Walk NW04/005 is on sidewalks and groomed trails surrounding the city. It is suitable for strollers but not for wheelchairs. Water and restrooms will be at the start/finish and the checkpoints. Pets are permitted but NOT in building(s). Owners are responsible for complying with leash and clean-up laws.
Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase at a reasonable price at the start/finish point.
Miscellaneous: Distance: Both the City Walk and the Country Walk are 10km. The City Walk has a 5km shorter route available. Both routes are rated 1 (5 point scale with 5 being the most difficult).

The 5k trail is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.

HATPIN: A Souvenir Hat Pin, the twelfth in a series, of a Powder Train used in the DuPont Powder Plant will be available for purchase at a cost of $ 2.50

PRE-REGISTRATION: Pre-Registration will be accepted from those who wish to assure they will receive their hatpin on the day of the event. Make check payable to the TOTHG Volkssport Club, and mail to PO Box 23057, Federal Way, WA. 98093. Must be postmarked no later then March 24, 2004.   

IVV (Volkssport) Credit: Cost for IVV incentive award credit is $3.00. Free bikers are welcome but are asked to register, carry and return a "start" (registration) card for club liability insurance purposes.

DIRECTIONS: I-5: Take I-5 exit 119 and go to DuPont City Hall (0.3 miles from I-5)

This event is sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association, part of the International Federation of Popular Sports (IVV), and counts toward the acquisition of IVV achievement awards.
