DISTANCE:        10Ks (6.2 Miles)
                              05Ks (3.1 Miles)
 

TRAILS: (1) Walk on paved paths and woodland trails, which will
take you throughout the park and the viewing areas for the bears,
wolves, cats and many other animals.

The 5k trail is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.

AWARD: A 2 ½ inch colored IVV/AVA colored patch is available for girl scouts and other interested walkers for a cost of $5.00 which includes credit. Credit Only is $3.00. Free Walkers are welcome but must register , carry and return a start card.

HATPIN: will be available for purchase at a cost of $1.00 each

PRE-REGISTRATION: For those who have not already registered for the award please send a check in the amount of $5.00, payable to: TOTHG Volkssport Club, PO Box 23057, Federal Way, WA 98093. Check must be postmarked no later then June 1, 2006.

MISCELLANEOUS: Water,restrooms and food at start/finish. Water at checkpoint. Park admission will be free to walkers. Tram Rides will be half price for walkers. Pets are not permitted.

This is a fund raiser walk for Northwest Trek. All profits will be donated to the park.

DIRECTIONS: I-5: Exit #127. Go east on SR512 to SR 161. Go
south (right) on SR 161 towards Eatonville. Follow signs to
Northwest Trek, approx 22 miles from 1-5. SR167: South to SR512(Puyallup/Olympia). Take the South Hill/Eatonville exit. Turn left on SR161 (Meridian) and follow signs to Northwest Trek.

This event is sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association, part of the International Federation of Popular Sports (IVV), and counts toward the acquisition of IVV achievement awards.
