TRAIL: ( 3 ) The trail is on sidewalks throughout
neighborhoods in North Tacoma. You will pass through the Northshore Golf Course
and also have great views of Mt Rainier and Puget Sound. One short hill and
several gradual inclines will be encountered on the route. Strollers are OK,
but not wheelchairs.
The 5k walk ( 2+ ) Some moderate hills.
AWARD: A National Volkssport Month patch will be available
for the cost of $6.00 which will include credit. There will be 35 available
with NO REORDERS. Credit Only
will be $2.00. Free walkers are welcome, but must register, carry and return
a start card.
HATPIN: None
PRE-REGISTRATION: Must be postmarked by October 1st. Make check payable to the TOTHG Volkssport Club and mail to PO Box 23057, Federal Way, WA. 98093.
MISCELLANEOUS: Water and restrooms will be available at the start/finish and checkpoint. Pets are welcome, but NOT IN THE CENTRE. Owners are responsible for leash and cleanup laws.

DIRECTIONS: From I-5: Either North or Southbound take Exit 142B. You will be on S348 St. This street will change names several times, just continue until you reach Hoyt Road. At Hoyd Road drive straight ahead, you will now be Northshore Blvd, turn left at the next traffice signal and then immediately right into the parking lot of the Centre at Norpoint. (5 miles) The start point will be inside the entrance on the right side of the building.
